Would the city consider removing it and replacing it with a non-invasive?

While the Norway maple is technically invasive, this established tree's eco benefits outweigh the invasive characteristics in this location. It is a healthy established tree that we want to preserve. We have similar examples of Norway maples in Prescott Park. It is not bordering a native woodland, and the backyards of both 123 Hillside Drive and surrounding properties are already lined with Norway Maples. We will not remove or replace this tree. We will perform any pruning or preservation work that may arise in the future with this tree. Thank you for your concern and involvement.
