Description
I am a resident of the Middle Hill Condos and walk my dog 3 times per day down Middle Road. I noted last week the speed limit was reduced to 25 miles an hour on Middle Road, which is great, thanks!
Also I noted that several signs indicating cross walks were installed. Unfortunately there was no sign to indicate a cross walk at the intersection of Spinney and Middle Rd. Cars fly over the bypass bridge on Middle and it is a limited view to the cross walk. I also noted cross walk signs were placed a bit further down Middle to indicate a cross walk. We have almost been hit several times my cars while IN the crosswalk. Can you please let me know why signs were not installed either directly over the bridge or at the crosswalk like many other busy intersections in town. Regards

I am resident of Spinney Road and can validate everything Mark has stated in this call for service.
Speeding and failure to yield to pedestrians continues to be a major issue that appears to be “un-addressed” at the street level.
Like Mark, I use the sidewalks on Spinney & Middle a significant amount - but have stopped riding bicycles with my 5 year old son on these streets / sidewalks recently because of increased “distracted driving” and unreasonable speeding.
My ask is that these issues are addressed prior to having a major incident.
1) Speeding needs to be reduced / heavily enforced on Spinney / Middle
2) Yielding to pedestrians needs to be heavily enforced
