Description
Somerville DPW ticket #212963
The whole first block of Webster out of Union Square is terribly potholed. It seems like the entire right side of the street is just a disintegrating mess of old patch jobs. In some places, the potholes are so deep that you can see the cobblestones underneath. Bikes are left with the dubious choice of taking the whole travel lane during rush hour, or staying and riding over the potholes, trying not to be thrown off their bikes.

The City used HUD money recently to put in new curb cuts at Prospect and Webster. However, they didn't do a job that would ensure actual use of those sidewalks. It was yet another pretty-making-but- not-actually-useful waste of time and resources.
So, what was "Shape Up Somerville" all about, again???!!!

Yay! A new app for my phone which sometimes works! Maybe!
Seriously, what was wrong with a website? Do people without smartphones still get to file issues?

I took your comment to mean that this website isn't a valid place to report issues any more. So that's wrong?
Why did you close the issue with that comment, then? The right side of this street is still untouched since DPW ticket #213803.
