I've posted on this before here. For the past ten years or so since I've been around the neighborhood, the pattern of this encampment is it gets cleared out every time the City comes in to clean up the Park. Then they come back.
The easy solution it seems to me would be to wall it off. I can understand why anyone would value it as a shelter. But this is something the City knows about.

Instead, the "squatters" recently erected plywood walls, painted them black, and cut an entry door with their own padlock. They have locked out park staff!
There is no portapotty, so fouling this lovely marine and seabird lhabitat, plus scaring away families and kids.
Please help! Thank you.
