Illegal dump of trash corner of Newton and West Blvd ( westside)
yes... I believe all the units have them except the last buildings on the right side of Osten Blvd (coming from Wyllys) 63-69 & 71-79 Osten
200k townhouses but no recycling bins.... took 6 months to get "trash cans", was told to take trash out back to the dumpsters provided to the 3 story apt buildings.
Home Ownership doesnt include shared dumpsters in my opinion.
please assist me in solving this issue, thanks
Charlie, you can close the issue yourself, as you were the initial reporter. I think it is in the Seeclickfix setting somewhere in your account to close issues that you report.
3-1-1 is hiring, maybe you should apply? :)
311 isnt being blamed or expected to "go out & deliver bins" but it seems that the follow-up is the problem. 311 passes it on to Public Works and then they reply 2 days later and say "All set you can close that case".
Seems that something the complainant should be doing with 311 (I recieved my bins, 311 is the best THANKS).
Im only saying this cause its been 15 months and 4 request (to 311) and each time they (Public Works) says the case is closed BUT 63-79 Osten Blvd still has no RECYCLING bins.
It took 6 months for "trash bins" to come.
Only thing that comes on time is the "Property Tax" bill.
again Im not pointing the finger at 311 just at whomever is saying "case closed" when its not. Acknowledging the case and actually "delivering" is 2 different things.
Well put, I have sad similar experiences with 3-1-1, they create a case, then wipe their hands of it...
Call your rep.
Central & South District
The recycling bins were delivered this morning to all units.
Thanks StealYourFace, you're the man (or woman)
also thanks 311 for following up and making us aware of the miscommunication.
No problem H.R. I live in Hartford and work for a neighboring local government, it's my belief you should get nothing less than excellent service with a reasonable time frame.
Voting lets your government know.
