Description

ACROSS from 48 George Street there is a stump from a tree that was hit and removed about 4 or 5 years ago. The two sections of concrete sidewalk are uplifted around this stump. I have tripped on this section twice! The first time resulted in injury to my knee and months of physical therapy. The second time I fell I called DPW upset and was told it would be looked at and either spray painted or fixed. If a resident informs you they have fallen and injured themselves I would hope it would be repaired immediately. Even patched the gap with asphalt until a permanent repair would be better than spray paint. Medford can certainly do better than spray paint. Although there are countless potholes around the city that are spray painted and never get filled. Seems like a waste of spray paint!
