Code compliance maybe should look at this for unauthorized renovation to a rental facility. I hope they monitor, the lack of any comments from the city makes me wonder about this mechanism to report problems sometimes.
Here is a recent photo. I am not certain if the trash from this place is what is causing the city drain (sewer) to plug and flood the street during each rain event, but the reality is that when it rains, the street in front of this place floods across its whole width.

New updated photo. Major renovations and no building permit posted. Trash now 2 weeks old and no owner response as far as I can tell.
I am additionally frustrated by the lack of city response to even say, "Hey, we sent them a letter..." Why?

Code Compliance sent a letter on September 8, 2014. The property owner is given seven days to comply. It is checked again and if not taken care of the Code Officer will submit it to the City contractor who will clean on the area and will bill the property owner.

Trash picked up. That is all for THIS time.
