Thanks for reaching out. There are a few reasons for this happening along this portion of the Val Vista corridor at this time. Due to the construction happening along Germann currently they are running a construction plan that is larger due to the closing of lanes etc. this is a moving operation and the goal here is to clear traffic out at quickly as possible not coordination at this time. There also were a few emergency vehicle preemptions in the PM on the date in question as well along this corridor but not at exactly 3pm? We do try to make things move the most traffic as efficiently as possible typically in peak periods due to signal spacing and cycle lengths we may need to favor a direction as well at times so some may love it and others may feel the coordination is lacking etc. I will try and take a look at this corridor again soon I am sorry it was unpleasant on Friday. I do appreciate you reaching out and thanks for the compliments about Mesa that is where I came from and am trying to do the same for the citizens of Gilbert... Mike S.
