These signs do not comply with any definition of exempted political signs, nor do they comply with placement rules even if they were political signs. The reference to Civitas is to provide the City with a way to identify the people responsible for placing these signs. They are no different than any similar commercial sign placed in the ROW or in front of property without a property owners permission. These signs are essentially commercial signs. They do not meet criteria for political signs. Even if they were political signs they do not meet placement rules.

What about the Save Hoffman and Anti-Fracking signs, Gregg? The liberal political bias showed, and devalued your message. On a run yesterday, I noticed that some of your like minded 'friends' pulled many of the signs, separated them from the metal frame, and just tossed them into the roadway and right-of-way -- instead of letting the group/person who put these up take them down and dispose of them properly, when election season is done. Hypocrisy at it's finest - please don't litter! Again..the real message was devalued by the bias, and therefore less effective then it could have been.
