While walking my dog early this morning, I saw a black cat that had been hit by a car on northbound Whitney Avenue between Bishop and Edwards. I notified the police who said they would send Public Works out. I wanted to post here though in the hopes that word might reach the cat's owner. I'm pretty sure it's the neighborhood cat I've come to know over the past few years. He's an outdoor cat and the owners may not realize he's gone for a few days... This is sad news, but I hope it reaches the cat's owner(s) so they at least know what happened. I'll miss seeing the little guy around.
