I checked the items on the list. The propery is deteriorating and weeds are very high. Is the list not sufficient? If not, why is there a checklist for us to use?

Abandoned Structures: Does he mean the Garage?
Long Grass: The lawn we mowed last week?
Unkempt Vegetation: I will admit the vine has been beating me this year but I have also been off my feet for the last 6 weeks.
Seems to look at Walt's list of complaints he likes to drive around town and complain about everyone. I will do better.

Abandoned my arse, both the homeowners are physically ill and trying their hardest to continue upkeep on the property while the two children that live there work and go to uni full time.

If you have such an issue with it, Walt, get out of your truck and offer to help. Angela and her family don't deserve your harassment.

Sorry to those who are taking issue with blight reports. I don't know who is ill and who isn't and sometimes the property is mowed after the report is posted. I don't drive around town looking to ding anybody, but I also don't enjoy living in a town where properties are not kept up. I'm not harrassing anyone. If there are capable children, there's no reason they can't take even an hour or two during one or two months to mow. I have children and they help while working and going to school. My apologies to Angela and her husband as I didn't know they were ill.

I wasn't judging anyone. If the property isn't kept up, it should be flagged as such. If the person is having difficulty, maybe family or neighbors can and should step in to help then it wouldn't show up on the blight list. There was no judging here.
