Wow! Thanks for the feedback. I think this issue isn’t good for the image of Prospect Park/Norwood – with the pipe shop, gun shop, tattoo parlors…add to that people get to drive down Amosland and view a lot of teens congregating in open areas at night (I think they may have curtailed it at Park Square). It would be great if there was another outlet for the kids, but what – kids that age are “too cool” or too old to go to dances or attend “recreational activities”, a movie theater would be nice or some other entertainment venue but those will never come to fruition. And also - as far as the “let kids be kids” excuse, yes, I’m all for letting kids be kids, but teach them to clean up after themselves and show a little respect for property which is not theirs. I'm not suggesting someone stand at the parking lot entrance to keep them out - but 10:30-11:00 at night - regradless of when curfew may be - is late to me to be congregating there (cranky pants that I am :)).

I agree there is nothing for teenagers to do in the Interboro area. I have seen the kids sitting the school parking lot and as long as they are not causing trouble (noise, vandalisim, etc.) then I don't see a problem with it.

Please close this issue.
Public property should be available to the public, young and old. If there is something constructive you would like to suggest other than targeting kids finding a place to socialize with other kids then please stand down. I'd rather have the cops concentrate on almost anything else other than harrassing people for congregating and socializing. Pretty sure noones safety is at stake here.

Maybe this person lives near by and it is annoying...it;s funny when it's not in your backyard you don't see a problem with it..how about we let these kids hang across the street from your house...see how well you handle it!!
