Why don't you call the borough about the handicap ramp issue? Note when and who you talk(ed) to, and if something is NOT done bring a law suit. The Americans w/ Disabilities Act is definitely in violation here.
The borough manager said they can fix it when they want but they did brown street.he also said federal law does not require them to fix them all at once. Its to much money for the borough.
Go to the ADA website, and see what the specifications have to be pertaining to public wheelchair accessibility and the ramifications of their hesitation to do this for the handicap community. I bet if the borough managers kid was in a wheelchair, every corner that his child traveled or might potentially travel would be ramp accessible. DO NOT take NO for an answer, this needs to be resolved!!
