Deskripsyon

The recent resurfacing has left at least two manhole covers much too low and the sharp edge can do tire damage. One in EBL and one in WBL on Academy just west of Tramway.

I was going to report the same issue. These covers are not even where you can see them to avoid them.

I would like to add my concerns about this problem. I drive Academy frequently and find it hard to avoid these deep holes even though I am aware of them.

What kind of an answer is that? Go Albuquerque Water Utility!! They said today that they could not find the complaint. Then they said that the man hole cover belonged to Comcast. I went back out and walked the street. The worst cover had "City of Albuquerque, Sanatary Sewer" in 4 inch letters. The other one in the intersection and in West Bound lane had "City of Albuquerque, Water" stamped on it. I was a little difficult to read because of all of the tire rubber stuck to it. Neither one have been raised and so the bump goes on.

Still no action. The sewer manhole cover in WBL is outlined in blue spray paint. It's been that way for about a month now. Still nothing done. The other one is also in WBL of Academy in the N/S crosswalk, west side of Tramway. Bad bump needs adjusting.
