I walk at the Riparian for over an hour every weekday morning and it appears to me that the dead branches are not picked up at all but systematically pushed under the trees and other bushes to seemingly create a barrier between the wildlife and the people on the paths. You can't hardly see the ponds anymore; benches that were placed a few years ago to face the ponds are now facing dead branches and overgrown bushes, All the trails at the pack of the Riparian are lined up with dead, decaying branches. Is it some ecological scheme? I don't expect Central Park in Gilbert but a bit of esthetic trimming and the removal of dead branches would go a long way!
