This is difficult to see (as a resident across from CHP.) how trashed our new park is. The City. of Burlington is not at all proactive with this issue.

Do you have any suggestions where they should go?

Out of Burlington or at the old BHS!

^Contribute something positive, or at the very least, don't deliberately endanger others, or leave.

The UU has open grass area that would work better for all Porta potty could be placed there as well.

Have the supposed park rangers tell the people where they can go to camp or get help and tell them they aren't allowed to camp there or they will be fined

Get used to them. More are coming.

How would you know?

To be clear, I am not requesting that anyone be asked to leave the park. Anyone can sit on a bench, homeless people are welcome to enjoy parks like everyone else. My point is that no one should be allowed to camp there. Or spread their belongings out in the trees or put up tents or other structures. Our parks are for the benefit & enjoyment of everyone. A few individuals should not be allowed to turn our public space into private space for a handful of people. It scares others away from using this resource & degrades the parks. The city has ordinances against this & they need to be enforced to preserve our parks.

So if they aren't supposed to be camping there why isn't the Parks department man or woman enough to do anything about it??
