Dangerous crossing for pedestrians. I've personally seen pedestrians nearly hit by vehicles travelling at 45mph. The root cause is due to vehicles illegally passing in the emergency lane on Northdale Blvd as vehicles are stopped for cross traffic waiting to turn onto Xeon Blvd. It would be great if the city installed safety bollards at this crossing to stop vehicles from passing in the emergency lane and potentially hitting crossing pedestrians. Implementing this solution could prevent a serious injury or even death of an innocent pedestrian.
