The sign is not the problem! It appears when there is a problem blame the "sign". The "sign" needs to be enforced. As with ALL laws, regs, ordinances, etc. in this City, the answer is always new laws, regs, ordinances, etc. Stop with the new and and start with enforcement of the laws already on the books. The individual to ask for funding to protect the residents (the Mayor) and enforcement in every department, i.e. police, licenses and inspection, zoning, would prefer to put our taxes toward ball fields. This situation is dire in this area. Most people running this stop sign and ALL THE OTHER STOPS SIGNS IN THIS AREA are also on their cell phones and many may not have insurance. We need protection through enforcement and, we will also benefit from funds collected through the tickets. Considering the quantity, our taxes would go down and our children together with our residents would be safer. Do not replace the sign HAVE MORE POLICE ENFORCEMENT HERE.

I got a ticket there for not stopping completely at the stop sign. I would have to disagree about enforcement.

This weekend there was a hit and run Saturday evening. I am amazed someone did not die in this accident. In reviewing a surveillance video, 3 out of 4 people do NOT stop at the four way. There is little police presence here because this is a peaceful community however, because of that thinking, the truth is much drug activity, etc. occurs because our police are put into areas which are the "squeeky wheels". We do not exist to except to pay taxes. Our CSO is great however he cannot be here 27/7. We need more enforcement. Talk to the individuals that live in this area. Fearful about going out and walking, biking, etc. Many are moving.
