Description

Over the years there have been ALOT of accidents (several fatal) at this intersection due to traffic NOT yeilding to cars that are already pulling out onto SR 45 out of the Southfork Subdivision. I have sit and watched this intersection and cannot begin to count how many times there have been "close calls" and even witnessed a few 'fender-benders'! Over the years there have been SEVERAL serious MVAs with fatalities also! Is it going to take the right person t o have to SUE the city in order to have a traffic signal placed at this location? They have a traffic light further down the road at THAT subdivision entrance! Whats it going to take? I have been told that people have even notified the councilman but still nothing has been done! I personally get tired of having to sit and sit waiting for traffic to clear in order to be able to pull out. Even then, alot of times you have to make sure an inconsiderate driver doesnt decide at the last second to pull into Southfork coming from the left lane WITHOUT using the center turning lane nor even a signal! (but they sure can be on their cell phones all along while making this illegal turn!)
