Description

I've never seen a street so improperly set up for water drainage. At the very top of the street are to unused storm drains (at the top? Seriously?? One year a tree was growing out of one). You have to go a few hundred yards south to find the next two drains on opposite sides of the street. Problem is...they are located after the street bottoms out and creates huge ponds in everybody's driveway. What makes it worse is that if either one of those drains gets clogged and it rains hard enough, there is standing water like you wouldn't believe. Every year since 1999 it has happened and the neighborhood is tired of dealing with severely flooded basements year after year. We need larger drains and more of them! Now! Attached pic is from 2006. It's happened every year since then except this year (thankfully).
