Description
Something needs to be done about traffic on this stretch of Heisley. People do 55 MPH on this road! Three people lost their lives recently because of a speed related crash. There have been multiple multi-car crashes at the light at Jackson and Heisley. Either this needs to be patroled more aggressively or there needs to be a traffic light at whalers cove to break up the flow to force slow downs.

I know they probably get paid per load but a life is a big price to pay.
Just take a look at all the skid marks from RT.2 exit on Heisley to Tyler.
Needs to be patroled!!

To answer a few people here:
1) Cops do patrol regularly on Heisley. They post up at the bottom of the bridges (just past Polychem if you are heading north), at the top of the bridges (right outside the Jackson/Heisley intersection), and at the fire station. I see them at least once a week in one of those three spots. They may not spend the whole day there, but I wouldn't want them to do that because there are more important things I want cops to do than sit around all day waiting for speeders.
2) Heisley will be widened to four lanes. The project should start either next year or 2013. It will be four lanes from Mentor Ave to past the freeway.
