These vehicles are standing - not parked and un-occupied. As a parent who had a student at the school, I too would wait in front ( albeit I would place my right wheels on the grass to keep my vehicle out of the driving lane) There is not enough parking in the lot in front of the school and it interferes with the bus traffic if you wait there. It is a problem that could be easily solved by widening the street in front of the school and creating a pick-up zone. Since it is State property, good luck getting that changed.
