Description
1/11/2012: The truck has been moved. After complaining and pulling my car behind it, the guy slashed 5 tires on 2 vehicles of mine. The guy lives on the second floor of the building between Hicks and Mole on Moore st. At this point, I'm afraid moving my car will invite the truck back. Considering I have to replace 5 tires, I don't want to have the truck back again.
The box truck that is a permanent fixture of Mole and Moore is a billboard for graffiti but it also blocks the crossing view from the west bound traffic. I have witnessed a few incidents in which kids were nearly hit when walking out from in front of the vehicle. At minimum, the truck should be parked on the NW corner of the block. This would provide a clear view for all trying to cross the street from all directions. Although I believe this truck invites graffiti, the most important thing is providing a safe crossing at the intersection. Secondly, its an eyesore.

In addition to the damage mentioned above, I now have to contend with my car getting keyed on three occasions, spat on, and now another tire slashed. Can anyone in the neighborhood help? Is there anyone who has any suggestions? If there is some neighbor listening, who is thankful for the box truck being gone, please speak up! I need help in getting no truck parking signage posted, maybe even neighborhood permit parking. This kind of thing wont stop the vandalism but it will help in changing the attitude of those who feel entitled to criminal retaliation.
