OMG I could not agree more. I have a friend who needs my help every time he goes to his doctor there. Union St. is such a dangerous place for pedestians anyway with cars racing pedestrians to entrance ways along that area. Then just try cross in union on foot. Dangerous! My friend has leg and hip problems so he needs to walk slow. If he took the bus he'd have to go all the way down to the Airport Mall then wait 15 to 20 minutes for the bus going down the other way before he can get to the doctors. I myself was going to switch doctors and start going to Pen Comm Healthcare but they are in such a horrible place without a vehicle that it's too hard to get to. Yes, the bus does go into that area but it takes forever to ride the bus just to get there. Way down by the campus there is a cross walk but that doesn't go anywhere near a side walk on one side and the walk light is fake, it never changes. The only other place to cross is way down near Griffin road and again there is no side walk along the side of Union near the doctors offices. I can't tell you how dangerous Union street is and how pedestrian unfriendly that place is.

I definitely agree! I always cross over at the lights near Midas muffler if traffic is stopped and no car is exiting from the right turn lane coming from PCHC. Often times I witness people jaywalking with vehicles a few feet away.
