Description

I posted an issue (Issue ID: 13390372) with the left turn arrow not working at La Media and E. Palomar Street and the issue was said to have been corrected. I tried to post a comment on it multiple times and the comment never takes (page sits there in wait mode and never processes).

Original post "I ride a motorcycle to work (I live on Via Capri Street). The traffic lights at La Media and East Palomar do not trigger the left turn arrow when I am in the left turn lane. I have to sit until someone in a larger vehicle arrives and triggers the light (I have sat up to 6 light changes waiting for vehicles to assist me). I have seen other motorcycles run those left turn lights, which is illegal, but how long should we have to wait before being able to proceed. This light can lead to unnecessary traffic infractions if it was adjusted/calibrated to function at the weight of 300 lbs or higher or to pick up vehicles with less steel due to weight distribution. This same situation occurs at the bottom of La Media and Otay Lakes Road as well.
Both need to be corrected/calibrated/fixed. It's totally unfair to motorcyclists. These lights have been this way for the last two or so years."

Response: "CLOSED Thank you for playing an active role in maintaining safe streets and neighborhoods. Your request for service (#22_007193) has been deemed resolved. If you have a question about the resolution of this issue please call (619) 397-6000 and provide the dispatcher with your tracking number. Thank you for helping make Chula Vista better, safer and cleaner."

My retort: "Request to Reopen"; "The light at the corner of East Palomar (heading west) and LaMedia (turning left/south) still does not trigger when I am in the left turn lane. My motorcycle is approx 450 lbs and no matter how I approach the light (slow, not so slow, left side, center, right side), the left turn arrow still does not trigger."

Would like this issue either reopened or re-investigated. Not with a heavy vehicle, but with 350 to 450 lbs of weight to ensure it triggers. I understand troubleshooting and problem resolution, and I also understand functional/operational testing and this has yet to properly be executed if the arrow is stIll not triggering.
