We understand your concerns about drivers speeding in your neighborhood. This is a common concern the Town receives. The Town’s Engineering Department is limited in what we can do to prevent drivers from speeding. When stops signs are installed to reduce the speed of traffic, they are often ignored. Since police cannot be there to enforce them 24/7, it tends to be an ineffective way to reduce the speed of traffic on roads.
