The city should add a traffic Light in this area because people run this stop sign half of the time. Plus the school makes it more dangerous for the kids when cars do not stop and half of the time cars almost hit the kids. If the city adds a signal I think people will learn how to drive slower. I also think the kids will cross way safer with the light than the stop sign.

Isn’t there a crossing guard here? What was the update on this

I don’t believe a light would benefit at this location. On a side note, if we considered putting “traffic lights” at every location where people run stop signs, we would have lights everywhere. I believe the crossing guard does a pretty good job keeping our kids safe. If we all would slow down and pay more attention, this world would be a safer place.
