This is still an issue. Who is responsible for pruning and removing overgrowth from this area? It is also a hazard for vehicles entering and exiting the neighborhood as it produces blind spots.

Thank you for your update. The property is privately owned. An owner has a duty to inspect and a duty to remove a risk condition. No imminent condition was observed at the time of inspection on 4/27/23. No sidewalk obstruction was observed. The LFNR Division of Public Works has added this to their to do list in an effort to assist within the limits of the law and without trespass. They will assist when the schedule allows, but cannot assist at the expense of other duties and commitments.

The detritus and overgrowth are on the public side of the retaining wall and on the sidewalk. This is also an empty parcel that is owned by a holding company that does not reside in the neighborhood. This will continue to go unchecked, and seems to be in a questionable ownership state between private and public for the area in question. It would be helpful for all parties to come to a clear and final resolution and just take care of the present issue while also understanding future cleanup efforts and responsibility.
