Description

The dedicated pedestrian walkway behind the new SOM building spills right out into the middle of Pearl Street here with no signage of any kind. The demarcation is so unclear that most pedestrians seem oblivious and keep walking down the middle of the active roadway. There are multiple ways this could be made safer, but as a start I'd like to see signs facing northwest toward Evans Hall for pedestrians descending the narrow dedicated path towards Pearl, Lincoln, and Orange Streets warning them about the transition from pedestrian walkway to city street.
