The right lane from the intersection with Route 5 (Branch Ave) has been dug up and patched so many times it's like driving through an obstacle course, especially in the right lane. There are so many bumps and dips that cars cannot realistically do more than a few miles an hour on this stretch of road. It has been dug up and patched so many times over the past few years that I don't think any part of the road is the original pavement. It's dangerous having people merging into this lane to turn right on Silver Hill Road when you have little control over the vehicle on this stretch of road.
