Residents at the apartments across the street have reported to members of the Springdale Woodmere Block Club that they have been directed by their landlords to place their bulk there because the City charges Commercial buildings for pickup. None of those building has any accomodations for bulk waste. The problem has been going on for years, yard, bulk, recycling and small waste that could go in the forever overflowing apt. garbage cans are all mixed up there, perpetually dumped there and no one from any of the apts. cleans up the mess the claw leaves behind. SWBC members have been cleaning it up intermittentantly for years. Our VP, who keeps the lots cut has to move bulk in order to cut and has little recourse to deal with the dumping as DLBA refused to sell her the remaining lot which we have helped to steward since 2011.Please put up some cameras, cute the slumlords and sell the lot to our VP immediately.
