Description

The intersection at massengale and old father is incredibly dangerous. When going east on Massengale it is nearly impossible to see oncoming traffic. I grew up in this area so I know that the structure at Thornydale elementary did not exist when this intersection was planned. There is now a building there with shrubbery and a fence. The stop sign is way too far back and even when creeping out it is hard to see. I was involved in an accident at this intersection this weekend. The people who live in the home on this corner say that there are accidents there constantly. I am requesting that this intersection be turned into a four way stop. The campus next to the intersection is a pre school and resource center and I believe making it a four way stop would have such a positive impact on the safety of this community. If all direction had to stop many accidents would not take place. Please consider this request and the impact it would have on the community.
