Deskripsyon

This intersection (Winchester and Woodland) has very poor visibility because of the way the street is curved and the fact that cars park all the way up to the corner next to the package store. Either change the parking regulations or put in some kind of traffic mirror (one of those convex mirrors) so that people turning off of Woodland on to Winchester can actually see oncoming traffic as it speeds up Winchester. I am surprised more accidents do not occur here ...

The cause of the problem is first, that a longer no-parking length is needed in front of the liquor store on Winchester to increase visibility and second, that some enforcement of traffic violations is needed in New Haven. Many of us feel that fragrant violations, done in front of police patrols, are ignored. Following up on minor infractions has been shown to affect more serious crime, and that is something they don't seem to believe in this city.
