Description

Signal timing adjustment. The west bound green light time needs to be lengthened as it is too short and causes vehicles to wait for many light cycles to get through. By adding 5 to 10 seconds WB each light cycle, it would give many more cars the chance to get through and not sit in traffic. For example, it is faster to take a left on Hodges, right on Hollis and a right onto Hancock to get through the intersection. I have made a few calls over the years to the traffic department but gave up after a while. People are still sitting in traffic. I have seen some times when only a few cars can get through traveling westbound when either cars or pedestrians block the traffic flow. The east bound movement is much longer since they have the early green light. See what you can do. Thank you.
