This can even be a bigger problem. A mass shooter in Chicago area climbed up the fire-escape stairs of a building to the rooftop with a rifle. That was back on July 4th of this year.
This needs to be fixed ASAP. Watch out for specious people who climb up these stairs for no reasons.
See something, say something.
THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION!
The fire escape ladder was "fixed" by shoving it up so it was about 4 feet above the ground. It is now more of a hazard than before.
The woman in the red hat injured her shoulder walking into it.
I spoke to Fire Prevention Inspector Daliani on Nov. 10, 2022 about the lowered Fire Escape that's bent and won't go back up. He said, he will be going to the location and inspect the Fire Escape. He said, he will be contacting whoever is responsible for the building and issue a order for them to fix it.
