This cart caravan was on 30th/San Pablo for almost 2 months. Several See-Click-Fix Issues were posted repeatedly about it before someone (the OPD?) finally made him/them move on. After it moved to this new location at 967 30th, I saw the OPD paid a visit for over an hour last Sunday night -- to no affect. I hoped this person was finally going to get some help. There is a person living amongst these carts of garbage BTW, its not just a bunch of garbage carts moving itself from one street to the other.
QUESTION: Doesn't the OPW contact the appropriate social service agencies about a human aid issue such as this? OPW please get this person the social service assistance needed to get off of the streets not just move on to someone else' block. That's not a solution.

They are violating Muni codes 9.08.160 Sitting or lying on streets, 9.08.170 Obstructing pedestrians and probably 9..08.180 Alcoholic beverages on public streets, 9.08.190 Open alcoholic beverage containers. These are the laws please look them up. I have talked to OPD and they will tell you that do not know all the laws.
