Penndot must synchronize the lights or permit right turn on red at the 30 bypass exit onto 100N. Inconsiderate drivers heading north on 100 should be ticketed for blocking the intersection.

All traffic signal lights along Rt. 100 from the off ramps up from Rt 30 up to the Target in Exton should be evaluated and synchronized to improve traffic flow. The lights at Lancaster are especially bad.

well if the amount of vehicle traffic and population in exton hadnt gone sky high in ten years it may have been better today. I mean 10-15 years ago main street at exton didnt exist, the mall was a half the size it is now, shopping was your local grocery store, a few different shops (games, flowers, food, odds and ends), you had pepboys and a sears/ kmart. No huge mall or huge shopping center with walmart, sams club, ( what used to be Circuit city) and all was never even thought of. Life was simple day to day then but philadelphia is slowly expanding its ways of life out this way look at west chester/coatesville/downingtown the crimes rates have started to go on the rise especially in the last 5 years

Thanks for the history lesson, but it really doesn't help solve today's problems. Penndot and West Whiteland need to fix this horrible traffic mess and enforce the laws about running red lights.

Agreed. The situation is compounded by the dopes that, although they will be turning left down at Commerce Blvd, they think they need to stop as soon as they turn right onto 100, and wait until a gap forms to switch lanes. FILL UP THE TWO RIGHT LANES SO THE EXIT RAMP CAN BE EMPTIED, then use the next 300 yards along Rt 100 to gradually ease over to the far left!
