Thank you. Stop signs on private property are the property/responsibility of the property owner and not the Town of Enfield. I will check with our zoning department to see if a stop sign was required at that location when their zoning approvals were made. Many times, stop signs are not used on entrance roadways to prevent vehicle from backing up onto local or state roadways, so it is possible that a stop sign is not required if there is not one there.
