Description
The curb in front of my house (and the majority of the houses on this side of the street) has sunk below the level of the street. Due to this, stormwater floods my property.
In the attached image, (A) shows where the curb is present but no longer visible; (B) shows the location of the speed hump which prevents stormwater from flowing down the street to the stormdrain; (C) shows the resulting flooding of water onto my property.

Although I am encouraged that the city's new statute speaks to the value of retaining these granite curbs, there does not appear to be any progress on the granite curbs reported here. As previously stated this situation will continue to get worse the longer that it goes unaddressed.
This was assigned to Brookhaven Department of Public Works on 11-25-2014. When should we expect to see a response from that department?
