Street Stripe repainting begins in May, and is usually completed in July. Road work and paving will occasionally delay the striping process. Major arterial roadways are usually striped twice per year.

STILL not fixed!

Oops, just reported this as a duplicate issue. I agree, this is very confusing. Either refresh the lane markings or add a MERGE sign just north of the Crosstown junction (as is done on Portland and Nicollet).

Consider: Right only at 60th street. Then convert to Left only at Bachmans. Then right only at 58th. This will make it even a bigger mess than Lyndale from 50th North.

STILL not fixed!! Just a sign or two and some paint is all that's needed. I hate that Richfield "get's it" and my city can't' fix a simple problem on a major artery like Lyndale ONE BLOCK from a city garage.

Curt -- have they restriped since the repaving?

Repaving has not occurred yet.Just hope they get it right when they do.

I emailed the contact for the repaving about the matter, and he said Traffic and Parking is responsible for restriping the roadway. Doug Maday is the contact for that division. So I would harp on him if it's still a confusing striping pattern after the paving is done.

Been about a week since repaving and still no stripes at all. I hope this is because they are putting some thought into it.

New striping is in, and it looks awesome! It's very clearly two travel lanes now, and they added a great new bike lane with the excess space.
