The About text for the new Princeton page on Facebook is technically correct, but in my opinion it could be improved if the word "joining" were replaced by "reuniting". The two municipalities were one municipality before the former Borough broke away in 1894.
The Municipality of Princeton was formed Jan 2013 by joining the former Princeton Borough and former Princeton Township into one unified town.
