Abandoned Car been parked over a week with 4 flat tires
Hi there! Thank you for submitting this request through SeeClickFix.
It looks like this issue is on private property; therefore, the property owner is responsible for the maintenance. If it looks like we don’t have this right, please let us know. This vehicle does not show to be a reported stolen vehicle. Thanks again for taking the time to help care for our City!
Thank you for the updated information. An officer responded today to check on jurisdiction. He found the vehicle to be parked in a public alleyway, not on private property. We will have our Parking Enforcement respond to check on the vehicle, as resources allow.
Please note: A California law was changed in 2019 and created an additional rule for police to remove vehicles, Assembly Bill 2876. This Bill does not allow for the towing/removal of vehicles off public city streets without a Community Care Taking need present. If you have any further questions or would like to speak to one of our team members, we’d love to hear from you. Please give us a call at (951) 736-2330, option 5, Monday – Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM. Thank you for helping to keep our streets safe!
