Why can't bus stops and the transfer station be cleaned of snow before City Hall? After all bus run before City Hall opens!

Why do we always have to wait until someone gets hurt or killed before people wake up and do something. How hard is it to take a shovel and clear out the snow nature gave us and the pile the snowplow left behind. We as taxpayers pay the city workers wages so why can't they earn them!

if you read the bylaw which you can find on citypa.com it states that the snow removal bylaw (within 48 hours) is on a volunteer basis. Only a portion of the downtown is REQUIRED to have their snow removed.... oh and you can't put snow from the sidewalk onto the city street. So, no, you will not be fined if you don't remove the snow from your sidewalk....it's just the nice thing to do.
