This intersection, especially the southern eastbound lane, at the SW corner of the intersection, is especially bad due to the large volume of traffic. The city has repaired it a number of times, as the snow has melted off and froze again, causing additiona potholes. Please keep up the good work, City of Topeka!
This area is so absolutely bad that the entire intersection should be torn out and completely replaced instead of doing postage stamp repairs of a few parts of the intersection. This would be doing the job correctly in conjunction with the new bypass being installed between SW Fairlawn and SW 29th, and would last much longer. Also, use a strong grade of concrete that won't easily crumble after a few winters of salt and sand applications.
