Description
The bottom of the southbound R1-5b sign should be mounted 7 feet above the sidewalk to be MUTCD and ADA compliant. Many other similar signs around the city are also too low, making them hard to see behind parked vehicles.

Service Request number W018134-111711 has been closed/completed. The Public Works Department advises, "Field check of the "Stop For Pedestrian" signs at Chicago and Hamilton show the signs to be visible. Parking for the sign on the west side has been removed to see the sign. Also there is an in-street sign at the crosswalk."
Thank you,
