Description
Apartment building owned by St Pete Properties LLC has been without hot water for almost a week as of today 12/11/14. Water availability seems to be a continuous issue in this historic building. Older buildings do have unique challenges when it comes to plumbing and maintenance of course, however this is a recurring problem that seems to just be patched up/band-aided instead of actually resolved. In the three months I've lived in the building there have been multiple occasions where there was no water at all, hot or cold. Now it has been 5 days without any hot water. The property is one of several owned by St Pete Properties LLC which has a handful of listed "managers" all in the form of LLCs which indicates to me they are highly interested in shielding themselves as individuals from lawsuits from tenants to whom they are not fulfilling their obligations as lessors. Is there a way to put legal pressure on these folks to ensure these kinds of issues don't continue to occur?
