It doesn't help that Comcast blacked out all the windows. This picture was taken four years ago, and nothing has improved.

Same with this one of the fence. Now I think it's worse. Maybe times are too hard for Comcast to be able to maintain its property.

The side of the Comcast building (on Chapel between Olive and State) always provides an unsafe situation. The 1/2 block is dark, dirty (discarded food, broken glass, leaves, etc.), and has all these alcoves where people sit and could hide. As a female who regularly has to walk past at night, its disconcerting.

This needs to get fixed, how it currently exists it makes the block feel blighted.

Agree - this has long been a mess.

I just noticed this response from the city to a similar issue at another Wooster Square business address. Note that both LCI and Public Works responded the same day the post appeared! Meanwhile, we've been coddling the flagrant slob Comcast for, what, over a year? Two years? What gives?

Huge build-up of trash in law firm parking lot ► Open.
45 Court Street New Haven, CT - Wooster Square

At the edges and corners of the Tobin & Melien law firm parking lot are hideous, unsightly, and ever growing heaps of trash. Dear attorneys, please police your lot and hire some of the ne'er-do-wells who hang out there on the weekends to clean up.
