This was investigated in 2009 when we received a request by local residents wanting a traffic signal installed. At the time we met with the City of Rochester Hills and the two adjacent property owners on the east side of Adams Road (Church and School). We told them the location would meet warrants for a signal if the two properties would combine their access to one location across from Butler Road. Other significant roadway geometric changes must be made to this intersection before a signal can be installed. We have been working with the City of Rochester Hills on a project for improvements and signal installation. However, no funding source has been identified at this time. It will also requires "buy-in" from the two property owners and some funding on their part. No timetable has been established at this time due to lack of funds.
