I am concerned about the traffic problem and numerous accidents that continue to occur at the corner of Hawthorne Road and Oleander. I live 1/2 a block away and call the police and run to the scene at least once a week when I am home. Years ago there was a stop-light, that was removed because of traffic backing up, a median was put in and we, the residents of this area asked that the lines for the turn lanes be clarified or changed. We were told that they can't/won't and that it is a coutesy issue. That is non-existant. There is at least one multi-car accident here a week. People going into the left lane too soon, people confused over the right of way... Please help us before someone needlessly dies because of this traffic problem.
