Description

The acceleration/deceleration lanes on US98 west, which are designed to allow drivers to slow out of traffic for turns and exits off 98, and to allow those entering 98 to accelerate and blend into fast moving traffic, have been turned into death traps by many aggressive drivers who use these lanes as private passing lanes to go around slow moving or stalled traffic by passing on the right. In doing so they drive long distances in these lanes at high speeds in order to cut back into the front of line. They cross many entry/exit drives and intersections, some even crossing through striped exclusion areas, risking side-on or rear-end collisions with motorists who are attempting to use these lanes correctly. PLEASE, stop these acts. Ticket these thoughtless drivers. Save injuries and lives.
